Hello!
Motherhood is an incredible journey. Bringing a new life into the world is joyous and exciting, but it is also chaotic and exhausting. I am here to help you focus on maximizing your time with your new baby and your family while providing the highest level of care and support.
My name is Lacey
I am happy to call Franklin my home after living in Florida for about 8 years. I have been married to my husband for 15 years and have three wonderful kids ages 16, 14, and 10. I have worked as a postpartum doula and nanny for the last 10 years and have made incredible lifelong friendships along the way. There is nothing more exciting than welcoming a new life to your family and being able to support both the parents and child during those first few months is a very special experience
I specialize in supporting parents through the early months after your baby’s arrival. Many of my clients have been professionals with demanding careers such as doctors, attorneys, and business owners. Having compassionate and flexible support is vital to not only your baby’s development but your own physical and mental heath.
Services
From our initial conversation to delivery and welcoming the baby home I am here to support you. We will work together to build a plan around your needs and concerns. Below is some information to give you an idea of the services that are available to support you.
Are you ready?
As a doula, my priority is to provide supportive care for your child and family during the postpartum transition. While this is a joyous time, it can also be stressful and overwhelming. I will work with you to customize a schedule that will best support you and your family during this time. This may include daytime support, overnights, lactation training and support, bottle feeding, and sleep training. My goal is to provide the highest level of care to allow you to focus on recovering and bonding with your baby.
DAYTIME SUPPORT
Typically 4-8 hour shifts focusing on family support. This may include feeding, baby wearing, bathing, tidying the nursery, light housekeeping. These visits allow parents time to bond with their other children, run errands, catch up on work or simply rest.
OVERNIGHT SUPPORT
A typical overnight visit will begin at 7 or 8 pm and last 12 hours to ensure the parents are able to get much needed rest. Support is tailored to your needs whether you are breastfeeding, pumping for night feedings or incorporating bottle and formula feeding.
